Speakeasies, AKA Blind Tigers, were illegal hotspots of the 1920's during Prohibition. Part bar, part casino, part music hall, but all illegal; these hidden establishments provided a unique underworld that took all classes, socio-economic backgrounds, political views, ethnicities, and genders. It didn't matter where you came from, or where you were headed. As long as you knew the password, and you had enouch jack to buy a drink or someone's company, you were a welcome patron. The Speakeasy moved around driven by illegal alcohol. Who could make it, who could move it, and who could sell it. The police that weren't on the take were trying to bust it, and the folks who were looking for a good time and were willing to keep it hush hush, would find their way to alleys, warehouses, back rooms, basements or anywhere one of these ginmills might pop up around town.
